Every Nomi claim above is sourced from Nomi’s own documentation, site, and App Store listing (wiki.nomi.ai, nomi.ai, apps.apple.com), verified July 5, 2026. Nomi’s docs elsewhere give an inconsistent 50-150-message figure for the same memory transition — “roughly 40” is their most-cited stated number, not a precise constant. Features and prices change — verify current details on each site.

The main difference is timing. Nomi's documentation says long-term memories “are not formed until roughly 40 messages after something is discussed,” while its Mind Map overview takes roughly 500 or more messages to build. Paramour.chat stores a scene as soon as it ends and keeps established facts in a story bible.

Both products generate images from the conversation. Nomi's guide says “the chat itself is the prompt,” but also says images can lag five or more messages behind a topic change; it provides a separate Art mode for precise requests. Paramour.chat generates from the stored current scene, including the place, clothes, pose, and framing.
