Scene Memory is how Paramour.chat remembers the story between sessions. Close the tab, come back in a month, and continue where you stopped. Earlier events can return when they matter, and established details remain part of the story. Scene Memory works the same for guests, free accounts, and paid accounts.

What it remembers

Scene Memory keeps the order of events, where each scene took place, who was there, what people wore, and what was promised, discovered, or admitted. It also keeps track of each relationship and anything still unresolved.

Once the story establishes a name, a secret, or a promise, that detail remains available in later scenes.

How it feels in play

You come back after two weeks and she picks up the exact thing you left unfinished, not a stock welcome. A keepsake she earned months ago is still on her wrist. A rival you walked away from is still a rival.

Earlier details are used when they are relevant to the current moment. Otherwise they stay in the background. There is no warm-up period: a scene can be remembered from the moment it happens.

Scenes, not transcripts

Scene Memory organizes the story into scenes, each with a place, a period of time, and the people who were there. Moving somewhere else, the arrival of another character, or a jump to the next morning can start a new scene. This lets the system retrieve a specific earlier moment instead of relying on one long transcript.

Editing and regenerating

If you edit a message or regenerate a reply, the story follows the version you keep. Whatever happened in the version you discarded is removed from the active story, including anyone who was introduced in it.

What it does not do

It does not repeat every earlier line. It retrieves details that are relevant to the current scene. An emotional moment without a change of place, time, or company may remain part of the surrounding scene instead of becoming a separate one.
