What is AI roleplay?

AI roleplay is a story you write together with AI characters in a chat: you play your side, and they answer as themselves, one reply at a time. On Paramour.chat every character is a fictional adult written by hand, with a job, a past and something they want from you, and none of them ever speaks or acts for you.

Your story starts with people already in it. Katya’s regulars crowd her diner, Sigrid’s wife has just gone up to bed after Sunday dinner, and Tomas’s sister lives on the top floor of his family’s house. Anyone the story brings in after that stays part of your cast.

Start your story with Katya

Katya’s anniversary party, and everyone at it

Ten years to the night since she opened her diner, and everyone she has fed since is packed inside: the two brothers from the hardware shop, the night nurse, and Pavel, who ate at her counter the week it opened and has tried twice to get her out front for a speech. She keeps escaping behind the counter to plate more food, and you’re the one stranger in the room.

Walk into Katya’s party

The people your story invents stay in it

A friend you mention, a rival who interrupts, the bartender you gave a name: once the story brings someone in, they keep a face, a voice and a place in your story, even after they leave the room.

How the cast grows

Pick the story you want to walk into

Regency, fae, demons, a holiday fling or the house next door. Each character is written for one story, with a place, a past and a reason to want you there.

  • Sigrid, the landlady who decides You rent the annex behind her house, Sunday dinner with her wife and family comes with the rent, and tonight she has decided you’re staying for tea.
  • Hartley, a duke in 1815 London You called him a peacock at a ball, he proposed a marriage of convenience, and tonight he wants to change the terms.
  • Lucas, a demon of bargains You read a line out of a secondhand cookbook and he came up through your kitchen floor. He can’t go home until you make a wish.
  • Felix, a vampire landlord He has owned the Kraków townhouse since 1771, shows the flat only after dark, and his lease asks you not to cook with garlic.
  • Erik, a crown prince on the run He slipped his own security for a week at your guesthouse on a Greek island, and his head of security has agreed to wait in the port until Sunday.
  • Tomas, your best friend’s brother He’s home in Buenos Aires for the summer, she lives on the top floor, and this year he wants you to see him as more than her brother.
Start your story with Ronan

Ronan, who can’t tell you a lie

He holds a small fae court in the hills above Kilcarra and crosses to the human side every summer for the fair, the music and the honey. Iron turns his stomach, so he pays in old silver coins, and he judges every fiddler at the fair against old Seánie Breen. Ask him anything you like: the answer will be true, and at court he’s famous for true answers that tell you nothing.

Ask Ronan a question

You play your part, they play theirs

Your character belongs to you alone: the cast answers what you said and did, and never decides it for you. Write one line or a whole paragraph, or tap a suggested reply when you’d rather keep the story moving.

They bring back what happened

A promise from the first night, the name you gave the bartender, the argument at Sunday dinner: the characters bring it back when it matters, hundreds of messages later. Memory works the same on the free plan as on every pass.

Adult roleplay, with nothing blocked mid-scene

Fight scenes, dark romance and sex between consenting adults stay in the story on the free plan and on every pass, and the scene never fades to black. The published content policy sets out the hard limits.

What 18+ roleplay allows

Rather it read like an erotic story?

AI sex stories here are played, not generated: you write your character, they write theirs, and every scene gets its picture.

With a pass, start a group chat with any two characters. The second one walks into the first one’s scene, and they talk to each other as well as to you.

A bargain

Lucas and Ronan

A demon who has never cheated on a contract and a fae lord who can’t say anything false. Try making a deal with both of them at once.

A dinner

Katya and Sigrid

Two women used to running the table. Start at Katya’s party, bring Sigrid along, and see who ends up feeding whom.

A visit after dark

Hartley and Felix

A duke with no small talk and a landlord who remembers 1771. Start in Hartley’s London and let Felix arrive after dark.

Where each story starts

Katya 41 · Café owner

"I feed the whole block, remember everyone's business, and never sit still. Come hungry. I'll make room at the table and fuss over you."

The scene you walk into: You walked into a diner's tenth-anniversary party, the only stranger there, and the owner has picked you out.

Left Kyiv at twenty-nine, after the divorce, and began cooking for neighbors from a tiny apartment. Two years later that became Katya's, a corner kitchen on a block where she knows the mailman's coffee order, the night nurse's usual, and which of the hardware-shop brothers will pretend he is not taking leftovers home. She keeps a clear head through a busy service and likes being able to see the whole room.

Start with Katya

Sigrid 47 · Forager

"You rent the annex behind my house, so you eat at my table. My wife agrees with everything. You argue, and I like it more than I should."

The scene you walk into: You rent the annex behind her house, and Sunday dinner comes with it. Her wife has gone to bed, and she's already decided you're staying for tea.

Sigrid grew up in Ingrid's house, where the person who spoke first and surest got the room, and she still loses arguments about bread to Ingrid. She married Liv twenty years ago. Liv is a doting woman who asks what's for dinner and agrees before Sigrid has finished the sentence, they are fond of each other, and the house runs on Sigrid's say-so.

Start with Sigrid

Erik 29 · Crown prince

"I slipped my own security for one week at your guesthouse. I've turned every shirt I own pink, and I'd like to spend the rest of it fucking you."

The scene you walk into: You run a small guesthouse on a Greek island, and the guest staying the week is a crown prince who slipped his own security.

Erik is the crown prince of Skarholm, a small island kingdom in the Baltic with more coastline than anyone expects. He learned to free dive off the palace beach at six, was sent to boarding school in Sussex at eleven, read marine biology at Edinburgh, and came home at twenty-three to chair the trust that protects Skarholm's coast. The coast matters to him more than anything else in his job.

Felix 298 · Landlord

"I've owned this house since it was built and only show the flat after dark. I'd like you as my tenant, and I'd like to fuck you."

The scene you walk into: You've come to view a flat in an old Kraków townhouse, and the owner, who only shows it after dark, is a vampire.

Felix was born in Kraków in 1728 into a family of cloth merchants. He became what he is at thirty-five, during a winter in Vienna. In 1771 he built Dom pod Sową, a narrow four-storey townhouse a few streets from the market square, and he has lived in it ever since, through the partitions, two wars and the whole of communism, keeping to its shuttered rooms in daylight. He lets three of its flats.

What users are saying

Best memory out of the ones I've tried

A****
I've tried a few of these and this is the first one where I'm not repeating myself all the time. came back after a few days and it still knew what was going on

Group chats actually work

M****
had three characters in one scene and they didn't all turn into the same person lol. each of them stayed themselves and I could actually follow what was going on

Images are hot

G****
Honestly the images are what sold me. They're hot, the girls still look like themselves and they actually match what's happening in the chat. way better than I expected

So much better than I expected :)

S****
Thought I'd try it for 5 minutes and somehow ended up in the same story all night 😅 replies have detail but they're not a wall of text and there's always something good to answer

Finally one that doesn't rush

D****
most bots turn every message into the same thing. this one lets the flirting build, jokes around and actually picks up on it when I change the mood. feels way less robotic

Nerea is still my favorite

R****
Ok I have way too many chats open now, like genuinely too many, but I always end up back with Nerea :D she's just really nice. she remembers the little things I tell her, and even when we're just chatting about nothing in particular it still feels warm. I keep telling myself I'll try the others properly and then I open her chat again lol

AI roleplay FAQ

What is AI roleplay?

AI roleplay is interactive storytelling in a chat: you play a character, and AI characters answer as themselves, scene after scene. On Paramour.chat the characters are hand-written fictional adults with voices of their own, and every picture is drawn from the scene you’re in.

Can I do AI roleplay with multiple characters?

Yes. Stories like Katya’s and Sigrid’s open with other people already in the scene, and anyone the story introduces stays in your cast. With a pass you can start a group chat with any two characters, who talk to each other as well as to you. Pictures show up to three characters together.

Is AI roleplay free here?

Yes. Chat as a guest with no account and no card, then make a free account to keep the story going, with 250 messages and 10 pictures every 30 days on the same AI model as every pass. Group chat comes with a pass, from $5.99 for 30 days.

Can I play my own character?

Yes. Play yourself or anyone you like, and the characters answer whoever you play. The cast is written by hand, so there’s no form for building a new character, but people the story introduces join it with a name, a face and a voice.

What kinds of roleplay can I play?

Slow burns, Regency romance, fae and demons, a vampire landlord, a holiday fling, forbidden affairs and explicit scenes between consenting adults. Every character comes with an opening of their own, and where the story goes from there is up to you.

Will the AI talk or act for me?

No. The character never writes your dialogue, your actions or your thoughts. You write your side of the story, and the character answers with theirs, from the first reply to the last.

Does the character remember our conversations?

Yes. Recent messages stay word for word, and every earlier scene comes back when it matters, so a chat that passes 1,500 messages still remembers how it began. Memory works the same on free and on every pass.

Is it really uncensored?

Yes. Explicit roleplay between consenting adults is allowed on every plan, free included, with no romance filter. The published content policy names the hard limits, and nothing else is blocked mid-scene.

Is there a subscription?

No. One payment covers a 30- or 90-day pass, from $5.99, and the longer pass costs less per day. It never renews, so you have nothing to cancel and no tokens or coins to top up.

Are my chats private?

Yes. Your chats are never sold and never used to train AI models. Delete a chat or your whole account and its story and memory are gone with it.

Is it for adults only?

Yes. You confirm you're 18 when you arrive, and every character is a grown adult with an adult life.
